Review on Brandmotion 9002-8847 Rear Vision System: Adjustable Mount Camera for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK with Factory Display Radio by Luke Liu

I bought this camera kit for my 2017 JKUR. Installation was very easy and compatible with the factory head unit. My installation turned on the reverse lights. Very clear picture when backed up for the first 30 months. My bad rating is because the product lacks long term capabilities. After 2.5 years the picture started to come and go until finally it just gave me a black screen when reversing. I contacted Brandmotion and they explained that I would need to buy a new camera and wiring harness for an additional $75. As I already had $400 for this purchase and it didn't last more than 2.5 years I naturally requested this replacement as a review as stated online you can find a number of reviews where people are asking about the EXACTLY encountered this problem EXACT time. Brandmotion also stated that they are not an "offline" company, so they can no longer cover this hardware failure after the one-year warranty has expired. If this kit hadn't cost €400 I might not have noticed that it breaks after only 2.5 years but would pass this information along to all my fellow Jeeps who also expect a product in this price range to last much longer . . .
