My sister has a degree in cosmetology and she says there's a trick to getting her hair done. but I still can't get it right. But they make great curls if you do them right. Works best on slightly damp hair. Some cousins say they are comfortable, some are not. sometimes it makes the perfect wave and sometimes it doesn't. My sister knows how to make perfect curls. My suggestion is to find a set to borrow and see if you like it, but they are adequate and come with a pouch to put them in. Made in China.
