I wear a size plus but several reviews said this jacket runs small so I ordered XL. It's arrived and XL is actually 1X and anyone who knows how women's clothing sizes work knows it's not the same as XL. I tried it on and it was too big. I figured I could just pull the strings tighter to make it tighter at the waist. That would probably be fine, except that on the one hand, I think the lining is separate from the outer layer and tie. When I tightened it, the lining was tighter, but the outer material didn't move. Also, it was very baggy in the pocket and felt too big. I thought it's okay, I'll take the big one. Big arrived today and too small! As a medium, it is more suitable. His shoulders were tense and he couldn't zip up. I like the jacket itself. It's a cute style and the perfect color for what I wanted. Not the best quality but I wasn't expecting it so it's ok. But it's very frustrating that I have 2 jackets, 1 size apart and one is too big and the other one is too small. There is no in between sizes so they just don't make a size that fits me. Very annoying. So if you wear small or medium you will love it. But if you usually wear large, be careful when choosing your size. Going up a size is really like going two or three sizes up, and there's nothing in between.
