Didn't recognize my Quest 2 as an extension cord while other cords were recognized with no issues. I can't say for sure if it is related to this cable, but after testing this cable on a port, the port no longer recognizes other devices connected to it (had to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the port to fix the problem ). I don't believe this is a true USB 3.1 cable and with my current experience I don't feel safe using it for anything else or recommending it to anyone.
