I don't think they should be specified for use with DVD cases. You must start heating from the open end, otherwise it will not cover the end of the DVD case. Even if you start at the open end, the corners may not come out. The sleeve should be about 1/2 inch longer to better cover the end of the DVD sleeve. You must purchase a sleeve that is at least 6" x 9" to effectively close the end, or have enough to seal the seams. .On the plus side, there is clear and strong compression.
