Review on 🔌 Enhance Versatility with StarTech.com PEX1PCI1 PCI Express to PCI Adapter Card by Dewey Galyon

I used this with an Inateck USB 3.0 PCIe 1x card. I put a half height card in this adapter and plugged it into a free PCI slot, booted the computer into Windows 10 and it found both cards and automatically installed all the drivers for both even before I could check Device Manager, no problems at all. I was positively surprised. I used an AMD motherboard (AM3/AM2+) released around 2006. No problems with any USB device, 2.0 or 3.0, I've connected to it so far, although I haven't tried measuring the speed yet. The USB 3.0 card in the 1x slot itself can transfer data from a 3.0 external hard drive at around 100MB/s. I will update this review when I have a chance to test drive with the adapter.
