A big improvement over what I used before. The fit and design seems excellent, fits well on the face and head. Breathes reasonably well as I don't feel my breathing is restricted when it's wet or humid. Worn in hot sun, cool damp mornings and rain; comfortable in everything, although I don't want to wear it for a long time, during strenuous activities in hot weather. The hat and hoodie are easy to put on and take off without adjusting the balaclava. Time will tell on the construction site. It has been soaked once in permethrin, washed in the washing machine half a dozen times and is still intact, no signs of wear. I mainly use it to protect against ticks and mosquitoes in the forest and bushes. Soaked in permethrin, it did everything I wanted it to. Works well enough for this purpose so I'm looking for a non-camouflaged version to wear in public if necessary. It just covers my hair and beard well so it doesn't pick up mites.
