I think the biggest complaint about this toy is its durability. Ours lasted over a year and I think it would still be working today if I hadn't damaged it myself. The battery compartment is tricky (must be because it's submerged in water) and changing the batteries is counterintuitive. I accidentally damaged the toy while trying to change the batteries. I should have returned the instructions instead of manually handling them. We definitely refunded our money long before it stopped working. However, I hate seeing so much plastic going to landfill as there really isn't any other use for it. However, we LOVE this product. This is not only a fantastic toy but also a great helper when we are trying to get the soap out of my son's insanely thick hair. Fast and don't worry about accidentally getting soap in your eyes. Although intended for toddlers, even my eldest son at 8 still enjoyed it when he rarely bathed instead of showered.
