I really wanted to love this product but I had so many problems with it. I consider myself a very good baker, but I've never made pie crusts or shortbread before, so I decided to try the recipe. I ordered this mat in preparation. Can't entirely blame the mat as I'm new to rolling out dough, but the dough was horribly sticky. I barely got it off the mat. I also had trouble getting it off the wooden rolling pin so obviously it has something to do with the test I did. I love how thin the mat is and how flat and motionless it lies on my rack. Plus it's so easy to clean. I will keep experimenting!
