This jacket is almost perfect: the material is light, decent quality - especially for the price. Construction issue - the part that comes out under the bust to the velcro at the neck is sewn in the middle and the chest is oddly low - I have 2 German Shorthaired Pointers, such a huge chest and a narrow waist and this jacket still hangs there a couple of inches under the bust and there is no way to adjust it for a proper fit. The jacket itself swings open after about 10 steps and then flaps in the wind. After all, this jacket held a lot of snow in place of it, and my dogs were warmer without it. However, this is a beautiful jacket and I love the feel of the material; not necessarily waterproof, but the outer shell kept moisture away from the fleece layer. I have kept sending jackets back to get one with no defects and the above issues have been the same with every jacket - I ended up buying 6 jackets, sending the first 4 back and simply refusing to return the last 2 (after hearing about it thought of using them as basics and just modifications to make it fit better and be a better jacket)
