Warning I am new to home gel manicure. Hours were cut at work, and the salon manicure was the first to be cut from the budget. As you read this review, think of a newbie. I ordered this set because I want to learn how to create designs. I have another set that I tried a few weeks ago with great results. I tried this set last night and immediately had problems with too much polish on the brush. Applying a small amount of polish to just very fine lines can be difficult. Many have written that they only use thinner brushes, but I appreciate the convenience of only having one. Another issue is that when applying a thinner polish to my brush I suddenly had drips from the center of the brush onto the bristles and ruined one of the bristles. My projects and I had to start from scratch. Those are things I can work around as I get more experience. I had no trouble curing the gel properly. Even thicker lines cure in 180 seconds. I like the variety of colors at an affordable price. I also appreciate that the colors are clearly printed on the front of the bottles. Have you noticed that some gel polishes don't do this and it drives you crazy when you're busy creating? I'm glad to have them in my collection and can't wait to hone my home design skills. I'm also glad we have home products like this for those of us who can't currently afford a salon.
