I've always loved the IDEA of these 'adult coloring books', but actually I find them quite stressful. I'm a bit OCD-prone and a perfectionist to the core, and the stress of deciding what color to use and where is driving me crazy. So I was skeptical when I heard about it but decided to give it a try. This deer cut was my first attempt and it was a great introduction, especially for the price! It's worth noting that this is far from full coverage, meaning most of the "art" is just printed on the vinyl and not actually covered in "diamonds". But for the first project this is a good test. It's an area small enough to work on that you can finish it in a few hours and decide if you like it. Also, on full coverage projects you need to be very precise when placing the drill bits (the "official" term for gems) as they all need to fit together like bricks in a wall. It's not specific to that particular topic, something I found quite useful until I started working with it. Overall I really liked it and immediately bought another one! An audio book, a glass of wine and a diamond painting is the most relaxing night I can imagine, perfect for relieving stress and detoxifying your brain.
