Eagerly I waited for my Alonefire SV003 10W 365nm UV Flashlight to arrive to test it on some minerals I collected. I'm a paleontologist and the UV spectrum of light proves valuable in some scenarios. The minerals even on the low setting with much light around led up with various colors of white yellow orange and green, some colors I have not seen with my previous lamp. This is different , far better than what I previously used, works well and is more than I need for my purposes. The flashlight feels good in the hand and seems sturdy! I looked and looked for a photo of the box it comes in on the net but could find nothing so I included one for the simple packaging. A little disappointed because it has no user manual and especially no warnings for using UV lights without proper eye protection! Regarding eye safety, any polycarbonate plastic glasses should protect your eyes 100% against UVA which this light produces, 3m makes really nice pairs for low prices.Wearing proper eyes safety glasses could not be overstated! Take into consideration the above is first impressions.
