This is especially true for shoes with elastic cords, not Velcro. I usually wear a US men's size 10 or 9.5 on certain shoes. I ordered men's 9.5 for these shoes and they were huge. It was a solid size 11 for men in the US. It works full size. I will downsize and take a male US size 8.5, see if it fits. It should, because 9.5 feels like 11. So I'm hoping 8.5 feels like 10.
