The second time I put it on the webbing started to fray under the buckle tension. I had braided leather belts for years before they started being worn like this, but I've been dwarfed by belts that looked like leather but weren't and won't last long. I was specifically looking for a "leather" belt. The first line of Revane's description reads "100% leather". It looked like the color I needed so I bought it. It looked/felt like leather so I packed it for a week's vacation. When it showed signs of wear after wearing it a second time, I took a closer look. Inside the tongue (where the buckle is attached) is printed "LEATHERZunge" and "GUIDE LACE" in small print. That's about 3 inches of leather on 39 inches of plastic trash.
