These shorts have a wide waistband and helps with support and posture when wearing it.Ventilation panels are great. Washed it in the shower and threw it in the dryer with very low heat.It has rubbery smell to it . it smells like fresh neoprene and nylon.When worn with the vest - you get double coverage of the stomach and you feel a little more slim by the squeeze of the material.I bought a XXL shorts and vest and I am 6'4” and 275 lbs and the gear fits like a glove.I have no trouble taking it off and I hope to wear this gear for the next 4 months and then look into a smaller size!
