I pre-ordered my CR-10 Smart direct from Creality and I regret every second of every day. I've bought into the hype for a 'smart' printer that levels automatically, saving you the trouble of constantly keeping a flat surface. I've had it for two months now and have only had two successful prints and a garbage bag of failures and disappointments. 1) The original GCODE that comes with the Creality Slicer is wrong. The firmware was not compiled with automatic loading of the ABL raster after HOME, so the printer forgets the ABL raster on every HOME. I had to find the CR-10 Smart Facebook group to find out and they have the correct GCODE on the sticker. Check out "Worldwide Creality CR10 Smart" in Facebook groups. 2) Even after figuring out the GCODE, after a month of frustration, the ABL completely hit or missed. If you have a working mesh, DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING OR LET IT AUTOMATICALLY BALANCE AGAIN! I got an STL to print and forgot to remove G29 from the original GCODE and my working mesh got overwritten and I didn't get it again for releveling. 3) The supplied firmware was complete garbage. As if the junk level should never have been released. The ones released after September worked and you need to update both the printer and the screen to have any hope of printing. 4) My filament sensor broke after about 20 hours of printing. Now it stops printing every 30 minutes and says there is no filament in it. I have a couple of Ender 3 V2s that have been my workhorses and I was looking for a 'smart' printer with ABL that I didn't need to mess around with. . The CR-10 Smart failed miserably. I gave up and added a Prusa MK3S+ to my fleet and it worked flawlessly right away. I think you get what you pay for. TL; DR - Great idea, poor execution. I do not recommend.
