Much better than mop and bucket

Many outside reviewers of this steam mop said that steam mops are no better than mop and bucket. That's right. They don't do deep cleaning, but neither does a mop and bucket. Keep your expectations realistic: you still have major riots to clean up as they happen and sweep up the trash. It does not dissolve or absorb solid particles. It's a mop, not a miracle worker. My home is 90% tile in southern Arizona. Between the dust that blows in, the dust that somehow comes out even when the house is closed, and the dust from the litter box in her bathroom, I'm dealing with a lot of dust. I last wiped a few days ago. I ordered my Shark after pouring out the last bucket of water and throwing the mop out onto the patio to dry. My shark arrived today. I've swept my entire house with a steam mop in much less time and with better results. It took 3 full cleaning wipes (on both sides) and 4 refills of the water tank. It is very maneuverable in tight spaces, especially in small bathrooms. The concentrated jet of steam is a very nice feature. Changing pads is quick and easy once you get the hang of it. The cushion pads fit perfectly. The only thing I would have liked was that the water tank was a bit bigger, but I sacrifice that by not having to lug a bucket of water around the house, dump it out and fill it up, and wait for the floor to dry. I am very happy with the Shark Genius Steam Pocket Mop (S6002). My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.
