I needed a phone for my home office that wouldn't take up much space on my desk. This is a working phone, I use it with an amp and a Plantronics headset and haven't had any major problems with it. If the person on the other end of the line hangs up the call first, the phone reverts to dial tone, which I assume is a feature intended for use in an outbound call center. It's a bit awkward, but I'm used to hanging up again. I haven't figured out how to disable this feature. I handle 100-150 incoming calls a day so the phone has been used extensively for the past 6 months and is still working perfectly.
