When I saw Arkare's "Power Strip" product page I was intrigued. The design and shape are so innovative and unusual that I just had to have one. But the unusual shape is much more practical than I thought. The "Power Strip" - quotation marks for design reasons - consists of two cubes stacked on top of each other. Each cube has four standard sockets plus an additional one at the top for a total of eight sockets. In addition, there are two USB ports on the side, ideal for charging your phone. All sockets accept three prong plugs. The two cubes fall apart and the top one has its own fork at the bottom. But what I like best is that it can be plugged in where other extension cords can't, like on a desk full of computers, printers and plugs. , monitor, etc., etc. Its height is six and a half inches, and its square base is four inches in diameter. The unusual design is a topic of conversation! Whatever you do with it, it will brighten up any room with its whimsical, innovative design. It also seems pretty strong and durable, including the thick power cord. Each of the two cubes has its own power switch, making it even more versatile than a standard power strip. I love it and can't give it less than five stars.
