I was skeptical about buying these pens. I just got a new Kindle Fire and am considering taking it to work. If I wanted to do that I figured it would be a good idea to use a pen. The problem is that I have a very bad habit of losing things. A lot of. Frequently. I lost my computer 6 times while writing this review. For this reason I needed several pens. I didn't want anything too expensive either. Basically, I bought them as disposable items. I didn't want them to be *too* disposable though. I was afraid that they would be of very poor quality and might not even work. Upon arrival, everyone was safe. They are very light - hollow in the middle. They don't seem to be long lasting and I think I would have preferred something more permanent, more like a pen. Some people may prefer the light aspect. They worked for me, especially with the price. I didn't expect them to be 24k gold filled or anything like that. The tips are not sealed or anything like that. They appear to be pushed under the metal and fall off. I probably lost 3 tips in the first few days and it was probably a few broken parts. However, the rest have proven themselves (more than a year has passed). I don't use them often, but when I do, they work well. If I inevitably lose the ones I still have, I will most likely order them again. I would not recommend them for users with a heavy pen. The tips are broad, so they will likely lack precision. Aside from the old Palm Pilot pen, these are the first pens (or pens, if you really want to annoy people) that I have. I have nothing to compare other than seeing other pens. They probably cost as much individually as they cost together. However, it probably has some value. I would have liked better advice. This part is really annoying. Good luck getting her back.
