Perfect fit for my 5 year old son. They are very breathable, fairly comfortable (much more so than Keen water boots) and lightweight. It looks luxurious and actually makes it very sporty. It was easy to get in the water, walk along the sandy beach. The soles protected from smaller rocks and the water drained off pretty quickly. His feet didn't smell either. However, I would not use this shoe for everyday use because the thin fabric wears out faster than sneakers or running shoes.
