This is a great example of a great idea without great execution. Overall I'm happy with this product but only because I'm able to fix the flaws in the design and did it to understand what was really a good idea that the manufacturer just didn't think through. The package is a template. The instructions don't state that the template can only be used with 2 holes, which makes the least sense if you want the strongest connection to the wall. On the other hand, you can't use the top 2 holes because the top hole angle bracket blocks your ability to screw it into the top top hole, so it makes you wonder why they put a hole in a product you don't can actually use. The relatively weak piece holding the bottom bar in place prevented me from removing the bottom bar to use the top hole because it seemed likely that I could either break the bottom bar holder or not put it back in place . after removal into the holder. A simple upgrade of the lower bar holder would make the upper hole usable and the result would be a much stronger device. The manufacturer designed a bar that holds the clothes between two posts, so you only have a 16-inch-wide choice. or 30 inches wide and nothing in between, which really defeats the purpose of using this device in small, non-standard spaces. In my case I had enough room for a 27 inch hanging area so to solve the design problem I used a pipe cutter and cut the crossbar to the right size so I ended up with exactly the width I needed to fit the available to maximize space. .If the manufacturer had thought this through they would have designed it with an adjustable bar which would not have been expensive to produce but would have made the product so much better! dissatisfied with the purchase because i'm happy, just a little disappointed that the manufacturer didn't think the product through intelligently. Great idea and a very practical product, but two very simple refinements would really make it perfect!
