I bought it to clean the bird cage, not to clean the bird poop, but it's very effective for removing "stains"! My birds decorated my wooden floor in several places and I used a different product to clean up their mess but unfortunately it dried out and was difficult to remove even with a scraper. I tried spraying a little of that cleaner on the dried spots and with one wipe of the sponge those disgusting dried debris were gone from the dodo. I am very happy! And the wood floor wasn't removed with a cleaner, so I don't have any cryptic matt spots on the floor (like products with orange oil). This product has a very low odor and is not harsh. I have something on my hands and it doesn't burn or cause a rash. A spray bottle works well (some are just awful!), and I don't need a lot of product to clean a bird cage. It removes feces from wood and metal, although the shape of the perch makes it a bit awkward to clean. I was in a hurry to clean up the other day and ran it over my closets to get some dust off. Works well, leaves no odor.
