New Review: After trying these for a while and looking at the new ones to fix the problems I thought I was pretty sure what the problem was. Because the filters capture fewer particles (I thought it was a great thing for my allergy sufferers), the agitator preempts actual vacuuming. Since I have these filters, a running vacuum cleaner no longer leaves the air purifier, but kicks up tons of dust and makes me sick. I think the creators had a good idea - to capture small particles. But unfortunately this causes a mess due to the above reason or some other reason. Two stars because if you don't have allergies they're still pretty functional. It collects some dust. But not as much as factory filters. I'm not keen on it, but now I'm spending $40 on factory filters. Old Rating: Easy to install. win a lot. I clean them and reuse them several times and they work great. At this price there is no reason to use them very long. Very happy with them.
