Review on 🔧 VOTEX DP007: High-Quality Stainless Steel Engine Oil Drain Plug with Neodymium Magnet - Made in USA by Bryant Randolph

A few years ago I replaced the factory drain plug with an aluminum (magnetic) drain plug. The first block cracked and leaked... got another "improved" block and used it a few times until... yup cracked and leaked AGAIN! So annoyed! I found this STAINLESS STEEL device and WOW! It has a nice flat 17mm head and doesn't protrude any more than other parts of the car. Porsche Cayman. See, there's a fine line between feeling like the washer is being compressed and the threads loosening from excessive torque. Any person who has changed spark plugs knows that two things will happen; First a good gasket and washer feel and second the need for good tightening torque so nothing comes loose along the way. The same theory applies to drain plugs; typically applying torque or up to a quarter turn to insert an aluminum spacer. I highly recommend this device and would love to hear other people's opinions! Spare me the dissimilar metal theory... Spark plugs are popped into aluminum heads all the time! Do yourself and your car a favor by purchasing this drain plug. Of course, measure the size and thread pitch of your current application! Enjoy!
