Works as advertised
This solved my problem, the power amp on my subwoofer was failing so I replaced it with a switch mode power supply and Class D power amp. The system sounded good. It worked, with two minor downsides: 1. One of the handles broke off on delivery2. The "knock" at power up (probably due to copious and much-needed coupling capacitors on the AC input) is quite extreme. It would be great if there was some sort of option to turn off the sound when the power is turned on.
