I have this towel and a more popular brand that costs twice as much. Both perform equally well in terms of quick drying, quick absorption, lightness and compactness. The branded leather is much softer, almost like suede, and this one doesn't feel very good on the skin, it's kind of sticky. However, none of these are a substitute for a fluffy bath towel. The branded towel is also heavier so it doesn't just get blown away by the wind so I have to be more careful and definitely clamp it on the sun lounger. I would recommend this towel because it's almost as good, twice the price, plus the colors are more vibrant and the whites don't get dirty as easily!
