Although they are cute and very light as other posters wrote, they run small. In my case I ordered a size up and they were still too small. They also have a very narrow toe box, which affects the fit as well. The insole is definitely soft, but there is almost no arch support. Of course, that might be fine for some people, as might a narrow sock (which would be great for one of my daughters, but it doesn't come in her size). They feel well constructed and sturdy, although the sole is so light it doesn't feel like it will last a couple of trail rides, but I have to return them so I can't find out. secure.
