Big heads only

This is a 'one size fits all' product, meaning it has a large size that is adjustable with a locking wheel. It's as good as much more expensive helmets and can be a bargain I think, but only if you have a fairly large round head. If you have a medium/small oval head I would not recommend this helmet. The fit will be bad. The locking wheel adjusts to a medium size and no more and the helmet will still rock from side to side and safety will be questionable in my opinion. For the best safety, you should buy helmets that offer a small/medium/large size. Also, the straps are a pretty weird mesh material that doesn't seem to wear well. The eye protection is a nice feature, but it just missed my goggles, which aren't that big, and pressed the goggles against the bridge of my nose, so it hurt at the end of the ride. So if you're buying it for eye protection and wear glasses, I'd warn you too. I decided to keep mine and wear a cycling cap underneath simply because the price was so low it seemed like a waste to return it, but I won't be buying it again.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • So far so good
