The tool helped me easily get rid of most of the old caulk lining the tub. However, I needed a razor to get through some of the hard to reach places because the HOMAX 5855 CAULK REMOVER was too big. Also, after using it once, the tool really isn't in the right shape to use again. The tool was adequate for the job, but that's about it. Also, you can buy it cheaper at a hardware store or hardware store than online.
