Review on Breastfeeding Dresses: Smallshow Women'S Short Sleeve Patchwork Nursing Dresses by Bryan White

Good basic dress for pregnancy and nursing

I have two of these dresses from my current pregnancy and one other that I gave away after I was pregnant previously. They are great basic knit dresses that are versatile. I usually wear them with sandals, but my friend to whom I gave the first one said she wore it with tights or leggings and boots along with a cardigan. The fabric isn't super high quality, but it isn't terrible either and for the price, I think it is pretty good. I would love to see a dress like this made with actual cotton jersey, but I am sure that would drive up the price (I would be willing to pay!). One other selling point for this dress vs a lot of the other jersey knit dresses is that is it is not clingy in the back. I think most pregnant women get a little lower back fat and it just, in my opinion, is not an area I am trying to accentuate, so I really like that these dresses do not cling but have a bit more of a generous cut. Even at my largest point of pregnancy and post partum, I feel at least moderately attractive in these dresses!

Pros
  • Removable nursing pads can be used for added leak protection
Cons
  • The dresses may not be suitable for women who want something that is versatile
