I love laundry detergent

I browse LOTS of laundry detergent and am rarely impressed, but this is insanely impressive. First of all it smells amazing, actually I was surprised by the super strong scent as it is intended for people with sensitivities to smells and additives, but personally I haven't had any problems with it and I have a lot of allergies. You only need a small amount of this cleaner and I have to admit that that small amount takes a lot of getting used to and I want to use more but wait now lol. There is a measuring cup inside but you have to look for it and you will be shocked at what 2 teaspoons looks like. I thought it was a full measuring cup at first, but no, it's 2 tablespoons, way more than you need for a regular high-powered load. I've found that my laundry comes clean at the magic 2 teaspoon mark, which is just over a quarter of an inch from the bottom of the measuring cup. I actually tested this with my white denim chair cover in the living room, which my dog, a celebrity leg lifter who sometimes manages to get out of his diaper, had stained with urine, which I didn't realize until the next day, this detergent picked it up not a trace left, which says a lot, since I often had to wash out such stains twice with Tide. I'm also amazed that I don't need fabric softener with this cleaner, I usually use Downy in my laundry and still add a dryer because in our dry climate we're so prone to static since we use this (and I have done about 8 downloads with it so far) I haven't used liquid or dryer fabric softener and every download came out incredibly soft, clean smelling and static free. Haven't had a reason to use a stain strip yet and haven't used a shampoo strip yet but this detergent, wow, I'm sold out and will be ordering again. Update: I've used the patch strip about 6 or 7 times. and I've never seen anything like it, it works so well. You can literally wear this garment, see the stain (I have foundation all over my sleeve, for example), and I just grabbed a rag soaked in a tiny stain, rubbed it on the pole and was able to wipe the stain a way . gone, gone, without a trace, without smudging, simply gone. I used this on my husband's shirt that had dried blood from the trimming and I just dampened one end, scrubbing the stain that was gone before putting it in the wash. It also helped with a lipstick stain after trying on a white shirt, it's so much better than any of my sprays and better for the environment. This material rocks.

Pros
  • One tablespoon is enough for cloth diapers, hockey gear or mechanic's gear
Cons
  • High price
