For $350, I would have hoped for full sound transparency and fresh impressions, but these headphones don't even sound any better than those costing less than $100. The sound quality is acceptable for casual music listeners but not much more. The lower frequencies cover a decent amount of ground, but don't expect to hear booming bass. In the middle and upper range of the frequency spectrum, I detect some roughness and, at times, wheezing. While these issues are not deal breakers, I had hoped for more thorough sound transparency at this price point. Because of the latency, you can't do anything with the headphones wirelessly besides listen to music. There is almost no feedback in the headphones between hitting the button and hearing anything, which makes even voice interactions awkward. The clatter of a keyboard or a person's voice are not adequately masked by noise canceling technology, but the noise of a microwave or a kettle or a drill can be. Third-party noises are amplified via noise reduction. These headphones have a closed design. In a sense, they function as portable speakers because all of the noises may escape and be heard by anyone nearby. It's curious that the maker included a casing yet skimped on cables, since a wired connection can be inconvenient if your computer or sound card isn't right next to you. If the headphones were $100, I could probably overlook their flaws, but at this price point, I find them unacceptable. It would be nice if bloggers who gush about these headphones actually bought them and gave them a try for more than a few hours.
