Absorbent, seems well made. I use them like a tea towel to wash dishes and wipe and dry countertops. I bought a 12 x 12 grey/white pack, the color goes well with my kitchen. I bought these "tea towels" because I was tired of using "dishwashing sponges". The sponges I used go sour/stinky quickly, have to be thrown away and were a waste of money, I kept replacing them. Now that I've tried kitchen towels, I prefer them to sponges. I love that I can wash my rags and use them over and over again which saves money. They also seem to absorb water faster than sponges. I My clothes arrived quickly with Prime, I washed them before use. They washed well in my washing machine and are still holding up well. I use a front loading washing machine without an agitator, which washes fabrics more easily than machines with an agitator. I will buy more if the quality stays the same.
