Pros: +One of the deciding factors was the reviews +Another deciding factor was that when you look at a Macally keyboard, the keys almost exactly match those of the Match Macbook Pro ! (they are toggled or not enabled on most similar keyboards) -- "Fn, Control, Option, Cmd" on the left and "Cmd, Option, Fn, Control" on the right (I use commands on the left more, so I had to find that). It also has commands at the top with F keys as well as some extras to help. + It has a numeric keypad on the right (I assume you had to buy a separate add-on to get this with the standard Apple keyboard?). + The Home/End keys work well with most programs (except Wordpress - where they work more like moving up or down the page). + It looks like an Apple keyboard (which also has disadvantages). The keys have a matte feel, are thin and not too protruding from the board, they look good and don't slip when typing. fast typists) + I like that it has a USB cable instead of WiFi because I don't have to worry about batteries. I think making it thin and relatively flat (just a slight tilt) also helps. + Although I don't use it, it has a power button. I don't know if this is for the keyboard or for the computer in general (don't want to try it as I type this). + volume control on keyboard + play/fast-forward/fast-rewind on F-keys + cut/copy/paste on F-keys + screen brightness adjustment on F-keys + print screen (F12) + arrow keys + " "Delete button " on the numeric keypad + Do you know how to zoom in on a browser page, do you usually press "Ctrl" and the plus sign? This keyboard has zoom in/out buttons. Cons: - The CD eject button is right above the delete button, which sometimes easy to accidentally press, which is annoying at times - Because the keys are flat and not indented like many large keys on other keyboards, it takes a bit of getting used to typing on the number pad without looking - my fingers tend to flex to slip and have trouble finding "5" to reset sometimes the caps lock light up and sometimes not I don't know if di it's a bug or it just doesn't work with some programs or websites. Update: I bought it in October 2018. Now in September 2019 (less than 1 year old) I noticed that some buttons stopped working. For example, even when typing, I have to keep going back to get "t" and "f" to work. Most of the time lately they don't work while typing and I have to go back (and here the backspace key works faster if I press it all the time than just holding it) or press it hard to work. So it's a great keyboard if you're looking for something to pair with your Mac keyboard. But it's not the best keyboard if you're hoping to keep it for more than a year. new keyboard and you can be sure it's not Macally.
