Review on 🧇 NordicWare 15040 Cast Aluminum Belgium Waffle Iron for Stovetop by Emily Morris

I cannot say enough good things about this waffle maker. I have an Olaf electric waffle maker that my parents gave to my daughter. I've used it a few times and still have to use it as she loves the olaf shaped waffles it makes. However, cleaning it properly is the biggest hassle. The waffle mold has small holes and crevices that make cleaning extremely difficult as you cannot submerge it in water. After tasting how good homemade waffles tasted even though they were Olaf shaped, I always wanted to make homemade waffles and never buy frozen ones again. The recipes are so easy. I wish the waffle maker was bigger or at least made waffle makers with fewer slots. What made me choose this waffle maker over an electric waffle maker is that you can completely submerge it in water for a perfect, quick and easy clean. It's also really non-stick. For this reason I took it instead of cast iron. I didn't want to mess with non-stick waffle coating. It can break down quickly and frustrate me if I have problems with that sticking when using it on a burner gas stove and I know my stuff and I'd give up and get pissed off quickly. So I got this instead and the waffles come off ridiculously easy. I was nervous about using this on a gas range as I didn't know what heat setting to use. I watched the video that is online and followed what she had to say about it and quickly realized that every stove is different and I had to adjust the flame to get the waffles to cook at the right time. So far I haven't had a test run down the sides, which bothered me. However, I haven't made a perfectly square waffle yet either, as I haven't put enough in to reach all four corners. I will come. I've made about 3 batches of waffles in it so far, each time with a different recipe while we try them out to find the best waffle recipe. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend trying it. I don't think I would be as happy if I had another electric one, even if it were easier to use.
