I ordered two of these because I was tired of slipping a 1 1/2 inch wide belt through the loops of my women's jeans. Received them today and was disappointed to see that the inside of the belt did not have a suede finish as expected, but rather some sort of smooth layer that was glued or glued onto the base layer of the belt. The surface of the inner layer was smooth and shiny, swollen in places. Original leather strap. This is called a glued skin because the layers are glued together. The layers will separate over time. I expected this to happen with these straps so I sent them back.
