I bought this pair of magnetic tube slots (P3 P7920 Chemical free water conditioner) and installed them on a cold water line at the source and I have also installed other magnetic slots which I bought from Revain (Trillium Worldwide TWI -5001 Mineral Magnet II) on the hot water pipe coming from the central water heater and waited for the result. After 3 weeks I couldn't see any significant change in our shower, faucets or tub. Only my wife told me that she felt her hair was much thicker. As we live in a brand new house that is only a year old most things are still new and it's really difficult to see any significant changes in the water. Finally, yesterday I saw something that threw my brain off course. We had a steam/vapour inhalation system for a runny or stuffy nose that we bought about 15 years ago. It had a small water tank that is completely unrecognizable today due to years of calcification. It was all white chalky, evidence of water-based mineral deposits. I've been using the steam system since I got the flu. Yesterday when I changed the water from the tank I saw that the remaining hot water was all cloudy white. I poured out that water and poured out fresh water and again I saw the same thing - it's cloudy white again. The container appeared perfectly clean with no limescale deposits on the surface and shone in its original metallic brown colour. I was shocked ! This time I only used the steam inhaler once and changed the water twice; that's all ! Now everything is tidy. One of the most important discoveries is that this magnetic system actually works and works very well. By the way, the bathroom faucet I was getting this water from was quite a distance (at least 30 feet or more) from where the magnets are held. I am very happy that I have these two magnetic water purifiers. I'm also planning to install another cheap electronic magnet system (Electronic Water Descaler Decacifier Conditioner) that I ordered from Revain. With 3 of these decalcification systems, we are sure to have clean water throughout the house. The total cost was less than $100, which is much less than many other solutions on the market. I also think that three such systems may not be necessary, but one will suffice; but I was still willing to spend 100โฌ.
