I strongly believe this product should be recalled for bird safety reasons. 15.4. On 11/06/15 at 16:30 we found one of the two mirrors on the bottom of the cage. The adhesive on the mirror and plastic base have been exposed. The edge of the mirror was also bitten. Both of my kennels DIE that night. We don't know if it was from biting mirrors and glue or from swallowing food back then. We may never know what killed her. However, a reputable bird toy manufacturer should make toys that birds cannot destroy that quickly (less than 48 hours). You should also be aware that birds like to chew and destroy toys, so they should use non-toxic materials. But obviously it was very, very badly done. Conures are tough and this toy fell apart too quickly. My vet is investigating the safety of the product and I will be calling the company this week to update them on their possible role in my tragedy.
