Review on Midea M7 Pro Navigation for Easy Multi-Level Cleaning by David Reyes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great vacuum cleaner robot.

I have owned several different Roomba, LG and Shark robot vacuums over the years but this is my first experience with the Midea brand. So far I am very impressed with this Midea M7 Pro robot. After owning it and using it for a week, I decided it was the best I've ever had. Setting up the vacuum robot was simple and straightforward. It was well packaged to protect it from damage in transit, but was easy to take out of the box. It only takes a few minutes to snap the side brushes into place and start mopping. I left it charging overnight before trying it out. In the meantime, I scanned the QR code in the instructions to download the Midea app on my phone. Connecting the vacuum to my 2.4GHz WiFi through the app was a simple process. The app has a lot of features to explore, so take the time to improve the user experience. It can also be connected to Alexa or Google Home devices for use. The navigation function is very good and the best I have ever experienced. My house has a strange layout, but the robot vacuum quickly got used to it. I have the option to only run it in a specific area or to skip a specific area. The vacuum suction is excellent. It can be changed by default by logging into the app. The options are Quiet, Low, Standard, and High. I have 4 cats and they all shed a lot. I've always been amazed at the amount of dirt, fur, and stray kitty litter I throw out of the bin. My house is mostly hardwood floors and tile, with some carpeting. The robot works well around the house and handles transitions efficiently. This is my first robot vacuum cleaner with floor cleaning function. That doesn't entirely eliminate the need for an actual, old-fashioned mop every now and then. The instructions state that only clean water should be poured into the tank and no detergents. However, the wiping function refreshes the floors pleasantly from time to time. The wipe can be easily removed for washing. I put it in a small zip-lock mesh laundry bag and tossed it in the washing machine with our towels. The robot needs a little maintenance, but it doesn't last long. I empty the trash can after each use. Unless you have furry pets at home, you probably don't need to do this as often. I check the brushes to make sure they don't have tangled hair or hair. Once a week I give the wheels, sensors and charging ports a quick wipe down with a soft cloth. When I empty the trash can, I also remove the HEPA filter and tap it against the trash can. The filter can also be washed, but must be thoroughly dried before reinstallation. The instructions that come with the robot hoover are very simple. It would be helpful if a native English speaker checked the grammar and spelling of both the printed guide and the app. However, I've only encountered minor bugs in this regard, which in no way detract from the user experience. Overall this is a 5 star product, especially considering the cheap price. If I had one complaint it would be the length of the cord on the charging station. It's about 3 feet long, but I'd like it to be about 1 foot longer. Highly recommended!
