Review on Sunlite Spiral PAR20 Medium White by Lan Rosales

Quality light, definitely brighter than my 85w incandescent bulb. This is to be expected as this is a 6500K lamp, but it also produces definitely cooler light (more blue, less red) than regular 5500K studio CFLs. Being much dimmer than my 85w bulb and only consuming <70w when tested with Kill A Watt. I was very upset that they were dimmer and used less than 85 watt bulbs but were sold as 105 watt bulbs and I quickly returned them. When I got this I immediately compared it to my 85w bulb and tested it with Kill A Watt. Compared to the Kaezi 5500K 85W I have, it's brighter, but only because it's longer (the light intensity at each point of the bulb is about the same). Next comes power consumption. After a 10-minute warm-up period, the lightbulb consumed a constant 94 watts. Not bad! After all, this is more than the consumption of the next lower class (85 W) and is almost 90% of the nominal power, i.e. B+! Image comparing this bulb (left) to my 85 watt Kaezi 5500K (right) so you can see how much bluer and longer it is than a regular 85 watt bulb.
