Review on AGS DEK3 Door Ease Lubricant by Instructor Niederhaus

I would like to know what this grease is made of. Maybe a combination of wax and oil? Anyway, I've used it for squeaky door hinges and it works great. I was thinking of using WD-40 but its viscosity is too low and it runs off the hinge pin onto the door jamb; I thought about using lube but that was very messy and increased the chances of the door getting dirty. This STICK lube worked great. I removed each door pin from the hinge and rubbed an appropriate amount onto the pin, then scraped the STICK grease off the top of the empty hinge to apply some grease to the hole in the hinge so I could re-grease when replacing the hinge pin squeezed out some of the fat. down the hole. There were a few hinges that still squeaked even after I lubricated them with STICK Lube. I eventually found that the screws holding the hinges to the door and door frame were slightly loose, allowing the hinge to move slightly when the door was moved. I tightened the screws and the squeaking went away. I've since used STICK lube on some of the zippers and on the wooden rails of the tabletop when I opened them up to insert the leaves. It seems to work fine there too. It seemed a bit expensive, but you don't end up using very much for each application, so it will probably last a long time.
