I got snake skin for my Dell Inspiron 15. This is my third time getting a laptop skin so I now consider myself a laptop skin pro. My first skin looked great. But the edges always peel off. (Several negative reviews on this. I've admitted it's just a fact with laptop cases and I'm willing to work with him because I love personalized laptops. He's always with me so I like it when he a bit has flair.) The second skin I got was great too. But I've never cut my laptop's case because I was always afraid I'd mess it up or make it look choppy. And that's why my edges kept peeling off because I had to put stickers on the curve of my screen and the sticker wasn't about that curve of life at all. So, fast forward to the present, I got the laptop sleeve and as before it fits the width perfectly. But it was a bit high. So I decided that this time I would trim the leather. I used a piece of masking tape and taped one end where I wanted to tape it and then found where I needed to cut it. I cut the skin of my laptop while it was taped in place to ensure it was the perfect size. I also trimmed it neatly, it turned out EXCELLENT. I had an intermittent incident but didn't cut it all the way through, so I stuck on the piece of sticker that's still hanging and camouflaged it perfectly, if that makes sense. This looks best and if I need to change it or get bored with the style I will definitely downsize in the future. I'll update the image today, and in a few weeks I'll update again and let people know if the peeling issue is with a sticker that wasn't cut to size or if it's still peeling around the edges , even if it is flat . Pop up. Another pro tip. I used to try to glue the skin and then I got it crooked, I had to peel it off and re-stick it several times. I have a feeling it will probably loosen the adhesive so this time I lined up the bottom corners and made sure the bottom corners matched perfectly before carefully laying down the rest of the decal.
