UPDATE At first I thought this scrubber wouldn't work on my small pans. When I removed the insert to clean the silicone, I found the scraper worked great for small pans with no volume. In fact, I prefer to use it without the insert to remove stubborn stains *and* to remove fine salt and oil stains. I've added more photos to show what I mean. I seriously LOVE this scrubber now. ADVANTAGES: 1. The included silicone is attached with fasteners2. The chain does not scratch my cast iron. The individual parts of the chain mail are firmly closed so that there are no corners or edges.3. The silicone cleaning side is very handy for cleaning pans that won't stick to food, just need rinsing. It is very soft but dense enough to clean the potty.4. It's a lot thicker than I expected. CONS: 1. While this is perfect for my 10.8" and 1" pans, the thickness of the scrubber makes cleaning uncomfortable for my smaller pans (9"), and here's a chain scrubber with no insert (or thinner with a small chain ) will work better.2. The silicone insert is so thick that it protrudes when rubbed. The fasteners holding it are on the side (not in the middle). When I think about holding the mop upside down, everything is fine. That's a very minor quibble. Overall I am very satisfied with the product. My pans are very important to me, so I try to take good care of them. It helps. As I said, I'll probably need a non-insert chain scrubber, just a small pot. I'm new to this style of scrubber and I'm glad I found this.
