I like that it's easy to use, so you don't have to spend hours learning how to get things set up right (like with other services). The only thing I dislike about jitpack is that sometimes when adding dependencies from github, they are not added as modules in maven central. It would be nice if there was an option where you could add them manually instead of having to go through all of these steps every time. Also, while we were using this service, our builds were failing because some of our repos had been deleted by Github. This has since been fixed but it took us quite awhile to figure out what happened. Make sure you're familiar with Maven before trying to learn how to work with jitpack. We used jitpack to host our artifacts during development.
