Riverside ordered in color. The first thing I noticed was that the lid is not transparent at all, as can be seen in the photos. Not that big of a problem, but still inaccurate. The bigger problem is that the matte finish is just a thin layer on a shiny piece of plastic, and within a few weeks the matte layer started peeling and peeling off. At first I thought it might be a protective layer of plastic that should have been removed, but it's too thin and can't be removed in large chunks so over time it just peels off. I do not recommend this product if you go for one of the shiny options. Edit: I've had this case for less than a month. I was willing to live with the peeling finish but now the corner has cracked for no reason. The computer did not fall or trip over anything. I was lying in bed watching something on YouTube and the corner just landed on my chest. This product is garbage.
