My Finger Spoon Just Doesn't Care About This Spoon

I thought this spoon would help my little eater learn to use the dishes but it didn't seem to help. As he is only 9 months old I hope this will come in handy later on. At the moment, this spoon is great for teething and as an extra tool for eating. We alternate this spoon with the Avanchi spoon. He seems to prefer the longer handle of these spoons and the curved edge of this spoon. It seems like these spoons with more curved edges are better and easier to clean. Sometimes I need a brush to get into the grooves.
