I've always wanted to try an epilator but was afraid to spend money on something I was afraid might be too painful. The price of this item was very reasonable so it was a good opportunity. I held both hands up to the light to compare them and the untreated arm was my standard fuzz, but the depilated arm was smooth with not even a hint of hair. Very impressive. So I read the instructions. Charge the epilator first before applying it to the hairy area! I did a hand on the factory charger. I did the second hand with a fresh full load. The difference in sensations was day and night. The first hand was like a tattoo, the second hand was like someone hit you quickly. Also, do not drag the device by the branch in long slow motion.
