As for the bad reviews about growing mold, I had to work hard to figure out how to remove the yellow lid but when it appears it just holds on. Once you've removed the yellow juicing unit, the rest can be easily disassembled for thorough cleaning. It has become a favorite item, easy to use and with great results.
